An ode to Konkan

This post is dedicated to all my fav. destination- needless to say- Konkan.
This poem is also specially written for Manmit on his request for a post on my blog.

The poem gives Manmit plenty of scope for criticizing πŸ˜‰ ,but just remember the fact Bambya that I have written it in just 15 mins after returning from work at 3 am…

For the past 2-3 weeks I have been thinking of just one thing..and thats another trip to Konkan..

Konkan

I often think I have some past-life connection,
With the virgin beaches of Konkan.

A place where life budges in slow motion,
And I simply love to experience this state of complete peace and serenity,
As I am tempted to loose myself in this tranquility

I crave to glaze the vanishing evening sun,
enjoy our thoughtless expressions,
And finally feel the wordless departing emotion .

I yearn for another trip to this heaven.
I miss my Konkan!
I miss my Konkan!

  5. The 2 lane NH 17 is the greatest hurdle to growth of Konkan as a tourist destination.
To a certain extent it is good as I certainly want Konkan turning into another GOA.
